Scott Nycum, Director, Organizational Development for GDIT, has served as a strategist and management consultant for twenty years in the IT and healthcare sectors. Over the past two years at GDIT, he has supported the executive leadership team in charting a post-merger enterprise strategy and culture blueprint for the newly integrated organization. As part of developing the organization, Scott consults and coaches GDIT leaders on building trusted client relationships, strengthening team culture and optimizing program performance. He also serves as the executive sponsor for the P.R.I.D.E. Employee Resource Group, advocating for GDIT’s LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
Prior to joining GDIT, Scott was a consultant to hospital executives on clinical technologies, market strategy and technology adoption best practices. His team launched a new consulting-on-demand service delivering customized research and pro forma analysis for multimillion-dollar investments at major health centers nationwide.
Scott graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Biology. He completed the ICF-accredited executive coaching training at American University and is an IAF Certified Facilitator. He is a member of the Board of Regents and Faculty at the Leadership Center for Excellence, an Arlington-based non-profit organization building leadership capacity in the D.C. metro area through development, civic engagement and D&I programming.
